Isaac Putnam: Bluegrass Pioneer
Isaac Putnam is a bluegrass mandolin and guitar artist from WV. He attends Glenville State College with a double major in Chemistry and Bluegrass Music. Isaac got married to Lindsay Nicole Chapman (see below) on June 12, 2021. Isaac has recently recorded a bluegrass album titled Bluegrass Pioneer with his father, John, and younger brother Andrew. In addition Isaac also recorded a recent Bluegrass Gospel album as a member of the Putnam Family entitled, Hold the Light as dedicated to his grandfather, Mike Putnam who went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2019. Isaac now is the affectionate keeper of his grandpa's old Martin guitar shown below.
Having a little fun for Isaac's senior pictures, the boys posed with a 30-30 that Papaw gave John and Papaw's banjo. We received so many laughs and compliments from the picture, it became the front of Isaac's Bluegrass album.
On his album, Bluegrass Pioneer, Isaac trades off with his Dad on guitar and mandolin. His brother Andrew plays the upright bass and sings much of the lead. The Putnam boys are a lot of fun to watch live.
Isaac got married! Lindsay got married! Lindsay Nicole Putnam is our newest addition to our family as our daughter-in-law. Lindsay is the daughter of Jim and Lora Chapman of Burnsville, WV. We are so blessed that she is a Christian and in love with Isaac. She loves music and singing in church with Isaac.
